Martin Ssempa (born 1968) is a Ugandan charismatic pastor, activist, and the founder of the Makerere Community Church. Ssempa first came to international prominence in 2010, after a presentation video he made at his church, which showcased his opposition to homosexuality, went viral. The clip, which many viewers considered both shocking and unintentionally humorous, quickly turned Ssempa into a viral figure.
In 2010, Pastor Martin Ssempa held a presentation at his church to show what he believed were examples of “homosexual practices.” During the presentation, he used graphic descriptions and exaggerated expressions to argue against homosexuality.
One of the moments that became globally famous was when he dramatically said “THEY EAT DA POO-POO” when describing a man fisting a another man anus, and licking the man anus.
