This quote perfectly sums up Channel 5’s mission. Callaghan doesn’t mock his subjects (sometimes)—he lets the people speak, unfiltered. The result? A hilarious, yet shocking, human look at the people who defy norms, embrace their weirdness, and live by their own rules at times.

Channel 5, normally from All Gas No Brakes, is an American digital media company and web channel, billed as a “digital journalism” experience hosted by Andrew Callaghan. Talking about modern topic interviewing people opinion, feelings, and their minds. Some serious and some funny-shit. While watching these videos it brought me more about human interactions, and their “uniqueness” physically and vocally. Is like GTA where you meet different personalities from each characters, different plots, different mission that involve in different cultures. Quickly relize there’s more towards life instead of school, work, eating, and sleeping. It’s all about what you wanna do in life and don’t look judged other strangers what they think about you. Basically, saying IDGAF. I like it.
Florida Swampfest: A No Rule Event
If you live outside of America this vid is great summary of it. Florida Swampfest a redneck-y mugfest thing idk what is called where Americans do crazy, funny, stupid stunts to hype the crowd up without any rules. Is all about beers, boobs, mud, dirtbikes, and crazy wild shit. The interview did a great job showcasing the people inside the event. No matter what status are you rather you’re a youtuber, a pro skateboarder, or some ordinary dude, it unifies everyone into having a great time.
For a hillbilly-like event, people tend to question diversity in these events. Will I be welcome to this scene if im a black person? Will i be bullied because of my beliefs? Which make sense probably due to history and past hatred of others from conservative states for not being “white” However, in this interview it showcase is not true. Around 31:33 Andrew mentions seeing crust punks, gutter punks, skateboarders, and patriots, like a urban progressive scene, and everybody appeared to be welcome. One of the interviewers states, “This is like the weirdiest place because is like you got leftists who are like fuck the government, and you got weird fucking weird conservatives who are like, Yes, Trump they are all like “Fuck The Government.” So they just burst flamethrowers.” “The chaos brings us together, but also we have to focus on community.”

Trump Military Parade: Republicans vs Democratics
We’re getting political with this one. Around this month Donald Trump planned on celebrating on his birthday a 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army spending $25-$45 million of taxpayers money for the military parade. Obviously it came without controversy. During that time the “No Kings” protest was happening which got a greater amount of protester then the military parade crowd to 5 million protesters vs 250,000 predicted visitors. A lot of people had viewed the parade as underwhelming, soldiers not syncing correctly, and making the army look bad.
Around 3 minutes into the vid, There have been Republicans favoring the military parade, as the millions of dollars being spend on this as a possible option. However on the democratic side they argue the money should’ve been spend wisely such as funding money towards cancer research or meals. And view the parade as following similar to Kim Jung Un, praising Donald as a god.
