mbo.fandom.com – “My Wandering Fire” (also known as Мой блуждающий огонь in Russian) is a formerly unidentified Russian europop song by Russian musician Наталья Верич (Natal’ya Verich), recorded in 1995. The music video was aired by Saint-Petersburg’s Channel 22 — NBN. The discovery first started when a user from FidoNet’s su.music.lyrics, seeking information about the singer and complete lyrics.
History
The video for the song was filmed in the pavilions of the “Lenfilm” film studio in September 1995, while the shooting was conducted by the Art-Pictures Petersburg studio. Subsequently, the video was broadcast on the St. Petersburg channel NBN, and was recorded, probably, in January-March 1996.
In 2017, Alexander Alexandrov published a 34-second fragment of the video on VKontakte. The digitized video from the cassette was shot by Alexander himself no earlier than 2008 on Samsung WiTu.
The identity of the performer Наталья Верич remained a mystery for a long time, until in July 2024, the Russian Authors’ Society announced that the performer was a certain Natalia Yablonskaya , whose music career was not available on the Internet. Later, this information was confirmed by the memoirs of Alexander Alexandrov, as well as by some employees of the NBN channel established, as reported by Anon0122.
The video also starred a clarinetist , whose identity was established in November 2024 – the musician turned out to be Andrey Gusev.
The clip was partially found and digitized on September 24, 2025 by the Anticyclone Telegram channel. On the same day, it was posted on the s1tv channel on Telegram and YouTube. In two days, this video gained more than 10 thousand views on YouTube.
