ShowPositivity Admin – During the creation of this website there’s been times where I wanted to quit the website due to either burnouts or losing interest of my projects. But I kept on going, knowing how far I came designing my first website to this I knew I have to keep on going. One things that benefitted me through this journey was listening up uplifting tracks like happy hardcore, trance, and eurodance. These genres helped me to move on, keep going, and keep it pushing. Back then, I used to add tons of post where it gain little attention on the internet and felt nobody cared about the post but it was a myth.
If your not a web developer/webmaster you won’t understand the satisfaction of people mentioning or visiting your website. To non-developers think of it like growing your career from a nobody to a somebody. For example, you used to homeless and had nobody to supporting you, you got a job at McDonald’s, went to college, got your degree after working hard on it, following your passion to become a surgeon. Finally, getting hired at your first surgeon job after years of being a poor to a higher class. Hopefully this make sense xdd.
In the end of time we all are going to die, so make the life you always crave & love for. Do things that will find you joy and don’t let anybody tell you what they want you to do because is your life not there’s. Never giving up is one quote I always stand by. The only way you truly lose is when you quit, everybody lose & win at times but quitting ultimately shows you automatically lose in the end.
Journey Making this Website
Let’s start from the beginning, the reason why I created this website is because I kept seeing social media keep going down a toxic path. Every time you go on social media such as YouTube, X, Instagram is always push to a toxic environment. One Documentary I loved opened my eyes towards society changes from social media named ‘The Social Dilemma’ (documentary-drama hybrid explores the dangerous human impact of social networking, with tech experts sounding the alarm on their own creations.)
The whole documentary detail why technology is designed to manipulate people from trying to addict the users into watching more content through algorithm based recommended videos, tech leaders such as Chamath Palihapitiya opening admitting to using psychological principles to modify behavior, impacting Mental Health including children’s mental health, & political polarization/societal chaos where dictators can hold tech power over its citizens to control their thoughts into becoming brainwash that satisfy the regime and creating civil wars to another country like the US.
I highly recommend watching this movie. A great eye-opening way to double check your social media usage.
One Month Later after Launching ShowPositivity
One month after launching ShowPositivity I began adding topic such as: “Cool Findings” “Music Videos” “Blogs” brainstorming what to add. Later on, adding “Uplifting News” “Underrated Music” “Funny Vids” and so on, realizing the world got some cool shit to show online. Publishing around 145 posts as of May 5, 2026.
Plans for the site future
We will still continue on pushing out more articles but we may not publish frequently as we like to. We have a life outside of this site either pursuing our careers or doing other things. Not only this but been busy doing other things besides making more articles. We may release a update to our website where users can upload their findings from our categories listed but don’t know how to implement this still.
During this journey I learned so much stuff on maintaining a website, ranking higher on SEO, HTML Javascript CSS coding (from somebody who cant code), and a fascination about hosting websites.
The job is not over yet! nor will it over be over!
